We also discuss each of our own intersecting identities and how they influence how each of us move through the world, as well as how we may experience advantages or disadvantages because of society’s perceptions of our intersecting identities.
In this podcast, we give an overview of the history and current context of mass incarceration. We also discuss how intersectionality affects how Black children and adults experience the school-to-prison pipeline and the prison system at large.
