Super Word and the students are brought to the year 1976. They are taken into a classroom, similar to their own at Peachyville Middle School. They witness a girl around the age of 12 sitting at her desk reading along in her textbook as another girl in the class is asked to read out loud. This girl looks different than all of the other girls. She has just transferred to this Middle School from China. As she reads out loud, there is a row of girls behind her laughing and making comments like “omg that girl sounds so funny. She can barely even speak english why is she here!” The girl reading along in her textbook hears these girls comments and feels badly for the transfer student. However, she chooses to stay silent. She’s too afraid to speak out in defense of her. Super Word asks the class “what was wrong with this scene?”
